Tomás Tarnopolsky is a New York City-based photographer who primarily shoots concerts and portraiture. Born in Chicago and raised in Philadelphia, Tomás attends NYU, where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Music Technology. He currently covers concerts for Static Magazine, NYU’s Radio Station’s Magazine. His concert work features Peach Pit, The Rare Occasions, Pretty Sick, Ax and the Hatchetmen, and more. While concert photography is his focus, Tomás spent a semester in Europe honing his broader skills in street and nature photography, where he won the NYU Paris Urban Initiative Underground Photography Award.
