Tomás Tarnopolsky is a New York City-based photographer who primarily shoots concerts and portraiture. Born in Chicago and raised in Philadelphia, Tomás attends NYU, where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Music Technology. He is currently the Photo Editor of Static Magazine and coordinates a team of 20+ photographers for concert and interview shoots. His concert work features Peach Pit, Jane Remover, The Rare Occasions, Pretty Sick, Ax and the Hatchetmen, and more. Tomás also spent a semester in Europe honing his broader skills in street and nature photography, where he won the NYU Paris Urban Initiative Underground Photography Award. He spent his summer interning for Sol Media and 99Yards, working on events, BTS, and editorial shoots.
