Tomás Tarnopolsky is a New York City-based photographer who primarily shoots concerts and portraiture. Born in Chicago and raised in Philadelphia, Tomás attends NYU, where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Music Technology. He currently covers concerts for WNYU & Static Magazine, NYU’s radio station. His concert work features Peach Pit, The Rare Occasions, Pretty Sick, Ax and the Hatchetmen, and more. While concert photography is his focus, Tomás spent a semester in Europe honing his broader skills in street and nature photography, where he won the NYU Paris Urban Initiative Underground Photography Award.
